Adopting ESG standards for socially responsible business practices is becoming an imperative for modern business operations.
ESG reporting is the process of creating and publishing reports by companies about their impact on the environment (Environmental), the surroundings in which they operate (Social), and how they are managed (Governance).
ESG reporting includes qualitative reports covering these three elements, but also quantitative reports, as well as comparisons of the company’s performance with previously defined ESG risks, opportunities, and strategies.
Creating ESG reports can often be challenging, as companies first need to determine how, which ESG information, and which indicators they will measure and communicate.
