On December 20, the Congress Bureau of the Serbian Tourism Organization hosted the "Congress Ambassador of Serbia" award ceremony for 2023 and celebrated the 16th anniversary of its founding at the Sava Center in Belgrade.
The Club of Congress Ambassadors of Serbia was initiated with the idea of recognizing outstanding individuals in fields that are crucial for the development of society as a whole. The award acknowledges their enthusiasm and efforts in promoting the country in their professional fields, particularly those who, through their work and engagement, have secured international support for hosting global and European congresses of their associations.
This year, the Congress Bureau of the Serbian Tourism Organization marks 16 years of working to promote Serbia as a destination for business travel and events. This event provided an excellent opportunity to gather representatives from the congress industry (hotels, PCO and DMC agencies, congress venues, and other service providers) and local associations, to honor individuals who have contributed to enhancing Serbia’s position as a congress destination.
