Tijana Spasić Jakovljević, an English language instructor at our faculty, defended her doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. The dissertation is titled „The Position of the Individual in the Modern World in the Documentary Prose of David Foster Wallace„. The dissertation examines the essays and journalistic reports of one of the most influential younger-generation American writers, as well as contextualizing his work within contemporary American society and culture.
