What is it like to work in HR and what practices in employee motivation are followed by some of the most modern companies in Serbia? Students of the Faculty of Organizational Studies "Eduka," accompanied by professors Dragana Mitrić Aćimović and Ivana Jošanov Vrgović, had the pleasure this May Thursday to receive answers to these questions and to learn about the work of the HR sector at the IT company "Hooloovoo" in Belgrade.

During this study visit, students had the opportunity to tour the specially designed space of "Hooloovoo", created with the employees' needs in mind, hear what makes a good organizational culture at this company, learn about their employee selection process, how employee contributions are evaluated, how their development path looks, and how they face business challenges. The story behind why "Hooloovoo" has a position called "HR Friend," why they ask employees to openly rebel, and how all these specific practices emerged, which set the company apart from others in the industry, was particularly interesting.

This is just one way in which psychology students and those from other study programs at FOS "Eduka" gain knowledge and connect theory with practice. We thank all our business partners for their collaboration, and especially the hosts from "Hooloovoo" for generously sharing their knowledge and positive energy.
