Program Description

Quality communication of thoughts, wishes, and needs is the foundation for building successful relationships. By adopting an assertive communication style, individuals learn to stand up for themselves while being accepted and respected by others. This training is designed to introduce participants to assertive communication and help them develop assertive communication skills.

This training is intended for all adults who wish to improve their communication skills, individuals who lack self-confidence in interpersonal relationships, or those who face criticism from others due to perceived aggressiveness. It is also suitable for business professionals and teams seeking to enhance workplace communication skills.

Competencies Acquired

Participants will be able to recognize assertive, passive, and aggressive behavior and appropriately express their opinions, wishes, and emotions. They will learn to protect their personal boundaries, give and receive criticism and praise effectively, recognize different types of manipulation, and apply appropriate response strategies.

Method of Delivery

The program includes a combination of lectures, individual and team exercises, discussions, and take-home assignments.

Program Duration

The course consists of three sessions – two weekend days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The third session is a follow-up lasting two hours.

Program Fee

The participation fee is 14,800 RSD.

Payment must be made before the start of the course, no later than May 19, 2025. The number of participants is limited, and a place is reserved upon payment. The stated price applies per person. Organizations registering more than two participants for the same course receive a 10% discount per participant. The fee includes in-person attendance at the Organizer’s premises and accompanying materials according to the training plan and program.

Lecturer You Will Work With

Dragana Mitrić – Aćimović

PhD in Psychology, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka” in Belgrade and at the Department of Psychology, University of Kragujevac. She has many years of experience in human and organizational development through private practice, soft skills training, and consulting. She has over 15 years of HR experience and has delivered more than one hundred educational programs and training sessions aimed at improving individual and team communication. Dragana is a certified team coach and a psychotherapist in training with a focus on Transactional Analysis.
