Docent Dr. Dragana Mitrić - Aćimović, lecturer at the Psychology studies at the Faculty of Organizational Studies "Eduka" Belgrade, this week visited the Association "All for Her" in Zagreb – one of the leading organizations in the region that provides psychological support to women diagnosed with cancer and their families.

During the visit, Docent Mitrić - Aćimović had the opportunity to learn about the work of the Association, which has been successfully operating since 2008. The host was Maja Erceg Tušek, Master of Psychology and Head of the Center for Psychological Assistance, who shared valuable experiences and knowledge of the team consisting of permanently employed psychologists, professionals from other fields, and as many as 13 engaged psychotherapists.

“The Association All for Her is an exceptional example of how a systematic and empathetic approach to psycho-oncological support can be developed. This experience is of inestimable importance for the development of our students’ competencies in the field of psycho-oncology and palliative care,” said Docent Dr. Dragana Mitrić - Aćimović.

This visit represents an important step toward possible cooperation between FOS "Eduka" and relevant institutions in the region that provide psychological support in healthcare. The aim of such initiatives is to improve the teaching process and empower future psychologists to work in extremely sensitive and demanding areas such as psycho-oncology and palliative care.

The Faculty of Organizational Studies "Eduka" Belgrade continues to strengthen ties with organizations that provide concrete, modern models of work in the field of mental health, with the belief that education must be connected with the real needs of society.
