The Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka” Belgrade invites all psychology students, psychologists, psychotherapy trainees, and psychotherapists to a panel discussion titled “How Psychologists and Psychotherapists Can Help People with Cancer”, which will be held on October 16, 2025, starting at 5:30 PM, at the FOS Eduka premises (Majke Jevrosime 15, Belgrade).

The panel will feature the following speakers:
Vukašin Čobeljić, specialist in medical psychology, employed at the University Children's Hospital - Tiršova;
Marija Cvijanović, psychology student, psychotherapist in training, and employee at the organization “NURDOR”;
Mijodrag Bogićević, Special Education Specialist at the organization Hospices of Hope UK; and
Uroš Rajaković, psychologist, psychotherapist, and supervisor, representative of the Psycho-Oncology Center.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Dragana Mitrić - Aćimović, assistant professor at FOS “Eduka”, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, psychotherapist in training, and active member of the International Psycho-Oncology Society.

During the panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to hear about the experiences of psychologists working with cancer patients and their families in Serbia, where there is room for improvement in practice, whether we are falling behind the rest of the world, what it is like to recover from cancer and then provide psychological support to patients, whether psychologists are afraid of working with clients who have cancer, and much more. Active audience participation is planned, and all questions at the end of the discussion are welcome.

We believe that your presence at the panel discussion will broaden your perspectives, enrich the event with your knowledge and experience, and contribute to the joint marking of October – a month traditionally dedicated to raising awareness about cancer, prevention, and education in this field.
