The Faculty of Organizational Studies "Eduka" proudly announces a highly significant and timely panel discussion in the field of Political Psychology entitled "Psychological Aspects of Ethnic Conflict and Reconciliation", to be held by Prof. Dr. Mikloš Biro, one of the most eminent psychologists in the region in the field of conflict research, collective memory, and reconciliation processes.

During the lecture, Prof. Biro will present an overview of key political theories of conflict, followed by an in-depth analysis of the psychological mechanisms that shape conflicts between social and ethnic groups. Special emphasis will be placed on the psychological aspects of reconciliation — trust, empathy, collective identity, and narratives of the past — along with an overview of contemporary research on reconciliation factors in the post-Yugoslav region.

This topic remains highly relevant today, at a time when societies are still seeking ways to build mutual understanding and stable relationships among communities.

The panel is intended for students, teachers, researchers, as well as the general public interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the psychological dimension of social conflicts and the processes leading to reconciliation.

The lecture will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM, in the premises of the Faculty.
