The Role of Psychologists in the Process of Criminal Profiling — Nemanja Popović

The Faculty of Organizational Studies EDUKA invites all students and teachers to an exceptionally interesting lecture by Nemanja Popović on the topic “The Role of Psychologists in the Process of Criminal Profiling.”

In addition to theoretical knowledge about the role of psychologists in the field of criminal profiling, common misconceptions will be clarified, expert information will be presented, as well as case studies and examples of good practice in severe social events such as serial and mass murders.

About the lecturer — Nemanja Popović

Nemanja Popović graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad in 2008, majoring in psychology.

Since 2009, he has been working within the Association of Criminal Profilers (CPA). He completed his specialist studies at the Criminal Police Academy in Belgrade in 2013.

He has participated in teams as a collaborator in developing profiles of serial killers and serious criminal offenses with unknown perpetrators. To date, he has delivered over 300 lectures and panels on criminal profiling at various institutions and universities.

He has conducted professional training for institutions such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SIPA, and psychologists of the Ministry of Defense responsible for staff selection. He is also a collaborator of the Faculty of Criminalistics and Criminology in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
