On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka” has the honor to announce that it has signed an agreement with the Center for Palliative Care and Palliative Medicine “Belhospice” from Belgrade.

This means that psychology students of FOS “Eduka” will, in the future, have the opportunity to become familiar with the role of a psychologist in palliative care.

Practice at “Belhospice” is especially important for our students because it provides them with something that cannot be learned from books alone – a real and deeply human encounter with relationships and meaning.

We believe that through this practice our students will have the opportunity to:

  • develop emotional maturity and empathy
  • learn to work with difficult topics
  • apply in practice what they learn theoretically
  • develop communication skills
  • gain insight into work within an interdisciplinary team
  • achieve personal and professional growth

Our goal is for our students to learn not only how to be psychologists, but also how to be human beings in the helping profession.

As part of the observance of World Cancer Day, we also announce that our students will be referred to four courses by renowned experts in the field of psycho-oncology. After completing the courses, students will have the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge they have gained, and the best among them will be promoted and rewarded.
