The Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka” is pleased to announce the Academic Publishing Workshop, which will be organized in cooperation with the renowned international publishing house MDPI on April 7, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM, at the Faculty’s premises in Belgrade. In a time of rapid changes in scientific communication, academic integrity, and the application of artificial intelligence in research, this event represents an exceptional opportunity for researchers, lecturers, associates, and all those actively involved in contemporary scientific developments.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- ethics and artificial intelligence in academic publishing
- the peer review and editorial process at MDPI
- practical advice and guidelines from publishers intended for reviewers
Through a relevant and professionally designed program, participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the standards and challenges of modern academic publishing, with a special focus on the responsible use of AI tools, improving the quality of the peer review process, and understanding the expectations of international publishers.
The workshop speakers will be Dunja Mladenović, Senior Journal Relations Specialist, and Ljiljana Spasojević, Journal Relations Specialist, who will, through their professional experience, introduce participants to key aspects of communication with publishers, editorial procedures, and the principles of good reviewing practice. Their presence further confirms the importance of this event and the quality of cooperation that FOS Eduka develops with relevant international partners in the fields of science and higher education.
