At the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka”, a lecture titled “The Application of Artificial Intelligence in Psychology” was held today as part of peer education activities for psychology students.

The lecture was delivered by first-year students – Damjana Ađi, Verica Stanišić, Marta Čovo, and Mihailo Dolganov, with mentorship support from Assist. Prof. Dragana Mitrić-Aćimović, PhD.

During the lecture, attending students had the opportunity to learn about more than ten modern AI solutions already being applied in the following areas:

  • psychotherapy
  • human resources
  • psychological assessment
  • other segments of psychological practice

Special focus was placed on understanding the impact of artificial intelligence development on the future profession of psychologists, as well as encouraging critical thinking about the role of technology in this field.

The lecture attracted significant interest, reflected in active audience participation and numerous questions raised by students during and after the presentation. Additionally, through a conducted survey, the presenters explored their peers’ attitudes toward the use of artificial intelligence in psychology, and the collected data will serve as a basis for the development of a scientific paper.

The student presenters demonstrated a high level of maturity, as well as well-developed presentation and communication skills, inspiring their peers to engage in future peer education activities.

This activity is part of a broader faculty initiative aimed at bringing modern technologies closer to psychology students, preceded by expert lectures and focus groups dedicated to exploring the fear of artificial intelligence.
