The Faculty of Organizational Studies "Eduka" had the special pleasure of hosting Milovan Dekić from the company Nordeus, a user experience researcher, UX expert, and author of the book “Design Thinking – How to Solve Problems”.

In an open, dynamic, and highly inspiring conversation with students, Milovan Dekić shared his valuable professional experience – from his academic development to his work in one of the most successful companies in the gaming industry. Through concrete examples from practice, he brought closer to students what modern work in today’s business environment looks like, which competencies make a difference, and why understanding users, creative problem-solving, and teamwork are among the most important skills of the future.

A special focus of the lecture was the practical application of the Design Thinking methodology – not only as a creative approach, but as a serious and effective framework for solving real business and product development problems. Students had the opportunity to learn how user insights are gathered, how communication functions in multidisciplinary teams, how balance is established between data and intuition, and how artificial intelligence is changing the field of UX research and opening entirely new possibilities for understanding user behavior.

The conversation also opened broader questions about creativity, innovation, professional challenges, and the competencies that will be crucial in the years ahead. Such meetings represent an important part of the educational mission of FOS EDUKA – to provide students with direct contact with experts from leading companies and insight into modern trends shaping the labor market.

A special value of this visit is the fact that the company Nordeus has opened internship opportunities for FOS Eduka students, providing them with an exceptional chance to connect their acquired knowledge with real professional experience in one of the most recognizable companies in the region. Such steps further confirm the Faculty’s commitment to creating real development and career opportunities for its students through strong cooperation with the business sector.

We thank Milovan Dekić for his inspiring visit, openness, and valuable insights shared with our students, as well as the students of FOS Eduka for their active participation, excellent questions, and the energy that made this lecture especially meaningful.
