Leaving the classroom and getting acquainted with the real business environment for our students continued through a professional visit to the company Connectis Tower.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of a telecommunications company and the specifics of start-up culture, as well as about the concrete tasks of employees, work organization, and key HR processes – from recruitment to daily people management.

A particularly valuable part of the visit was the tour of the telecommunications tower, where students, with the support of civil engineers, went through the entire process – from site identification and obtaining permits to the construction phase. In this way, they further understood how important it is to have knowledge of business and industry for quality decision-making in the field of human resources.

About the practice of human resource management in a start-up environment spoke Sofija Bogdanović, HR Manager, while Jovana Nikolić, CFO, and Bogdan Djukic Đukić, CEO, spoke about team building and organizational culture. He is also a member of the Program Board of our faculty.

The professional visit was organized by Tatjana Djukic and Ivana Jošanov-Vrgović within the course Fundamentals of Human Resource Management, where such activities represent an important part of connecting theory and practice.
