Students of the course Human Resource Management Fundamentals, together with Prof. Dr. Ivana Jošanov Vrgović and Tatjana Đukić, also visited the company Cake.com, where they had the opportunity to learn about the specifics of working in the IT industry.
The People and Culture team, led by Biljana Rakić, presented the processes of recruitment, employee development, and people care in a company that develops its own product. Special emphasis was placed on attracting candidates, candidate experience, and the challenges of hiring in an industry where competition for talent is extremely high.
A particularly important part of the visit for students was the discussion about the upcoming internship, which they will have the opportunity to complete in this company, where they will be able to connect theoretical knowledge with practical work experience.
