The Faculty of Organizational Studies EDUKA announces an exclusive guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Slobodan Savić, one of the most respected experts in forensic medicine and forensic science in the region.

The lecture titled “Forensic Medical Expertise in Cases of Domestic Violence” will be held on May 27, 2026 at 13:00 at the Faculty of Organizational Studies EDUKA.

The topic addresses one of the most important issues of modern society: how expert evidence, institutional cooperation, and forensic expertise contribute to the protection of victims and the achievement of justice.

Students will have the opportunity to understand how traces of violence are identified, documented, and interpreted in forensic medical procedures in practice.

A special focus will be placed on the role of forensic expertise in cases of domestic violence, where precision, ethics, and professional responsibility are of crucial importance.

Prof. Dr. Slobodan Savić is a retired full professor from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and an expert whose work connects medicine, law, forensic science, and human rights protection.

Throughout his career, he also lectured at the Faculty of Law, educating generations of experts who now form an important part of the legal, healthcare, and forensic systems.

As a scholarship holder of the Swedish government, he specialized in Lund and obtained the status of a Swedish specialist in forensic medicine.

His name is associated with the most complex forensic medical expertise in modern practice, requiring exceptional expertise, impartiality, and professional courage.

As the President of the Victimology Society of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Savić actively contributes to improving the position of crime victims, especially women and children who are victims of violence.

This lecture is particularly important for students of psychology, forensic science, security, law, management, and all fields dealing with systems of protection and support.

Participants will gain valuable insight into how cooperation between doctors, courts, prosecutors, police, and other institutions functions in the process of proving violence.

The message of the lecture clearly shows that forensic medicine is not only the science of the consequences of violence, but also an important professional tool in the service of life, dignity, and justice.

Admission is free, but the number of seats is limited. The Faculty of Organizational Studies EDUKA invites students, faculty staff, and partners to take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet one of the greatest forensic authorities in Serbia and the region.
