The Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka” is proudly participating in the 74th Congress of Psychologists of Serbia, one of the most significant national scientific and professional events in the field of psychology.

The Congress is held from May 28 to May 31, 2026, in Divčibare, at the “Crni vrh” Hotel, the teaching base of the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka”.

This year’s Congress, titled “In Search of New Patterns: Between Digital and Social (R)evolutions,” is dedicated to the changes that contemporary society, technology, and new professional challenges bring to psychological science and practice. The program includes topics such as artificial intelligence, mental health, forensic psychology, psychotherapy, work and organizational psychology, child and adolescent development, digital media, and the social role of psychologists.

Of particular importance to our academic community is the fact that this prestigious event is being held in the very space where FOS Eduka students carry out part of their teaching and professional activities. The participation of faculty members, associates, and students in various segments of the Congress confirms the strong connection between psychology study programs and contemporary science, practice, and the professional community.

A particularly notable role in the program is held by Prof. Dr. Dušanka Đurović, who is leading the round table “Assessing the Credibility of Court Testimony – From Science to Practice.” Nemanja Popović also participates in this round table, contributing to the discussion of one of the most sensitive and demanding topics in contemporary forensic psychology. This program segment provides students with valuable insight into how psychological knowledge is applied in testimony assessment, court proceedings, and the protection of participants’ rights in the legal process.

As a member of the Congress organizing committee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dragana Mitrić-Aćimović is leading the round table “Artificial Intelligence and Psychological Practice: Where Are We and Where Are We Going,” which addresses the opportunities, challenges, and ethical issues of using new technologies in psychological work. She also presents research on workplace loneliness and the frequency and purpose of artificial intelligence use, within a symposium dedicated to the psychological experience of employees in modern organizations.

Within the round table on artificial intelligence and psychological practice, Dr. Ana Mirković, a teaching assistant at FOS Eduka, also participates. In this way, faculty members and associates are directly engaged in professional discussions on issues that will significantly shape the future of the psychological profession.

Prof. Dr. Ivana Jošanov-Vrgović presents the paper “Employee Well-being Between Social and Digital Transformations: A Three-Dimensional Model and Group Differences,” within a session in work and organizational psychology. Her presentation is particularly significant at a time when employee well-being, organizational support, and digital transformation are in the focus of contemporary research and business practice.

Filip Biro, M.A., teaching assistant at FOS Eduka, presents the paper “The Role of Live Streaming in the Development of Parasocial Relationships,” within a session dedicated to the digital environment, media, and artificial intelligence. Faculty members Prof. Ksenija Kolundžija and Prof. Dr. Đerđi Erdeš-Kavečan also participate in the Congress activities, contributing their teaching and research experience to the development of psychology studies at FOS Eduka.

The participation of Eduka professors and associates in the fields of forensic, organizational, clinical, and applied psychology demonstrates the breadth and modernity of the academic environment that the Faculty builds for its students. The Congress thus becomes a place of direct encounter between knowledge, research, and practice, as well as a space where the full strength of the teaching team of the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka” is evident.

A special value of this event is the active participation of undergraduate and master’s students of psychology at FOS Eduka, who attend lectures, panels, sessions, round tables, workshops, and scientific presentations. For students, this is an exceptional opportunity to meet leading experts, contemporary research topics, and different professional paths in psychology during their studies.

By participating in the Congress, they are no longer only listeners in lectures but become part of a living academic and professional community that discusses the most important issues of mental health, work, education, justice, and the digital society. A special source of pride is the participation of Ivana Miletić, a master’s student in psychology at the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka,” who together with Dražen Nikšić presents the poster “Will the Algorithm Replace the Therapeutic Relationship?”. Her participation shows that Eduka students are not only attendees of scientific events, but active participants in discussing the most important questions about the future of psychology and psychotherapeutic practice.

At the round table “The Psychological Profession in Human Resources – Where Are We and Where Should We Be?”, moderated by Bojana Mančić (National Alliance for Local Economic Development), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dragana Mitrić-Aćimović will speak alongside Dr. Jelena Dostanić (Faculty of Legal and Business Studies “Dr Lazar Vrkatić”), Katarina Milić (Nelt Group), Milina Petrović Milošević (ERGOMED), and Aleksandar Milinčić.

Our first-year psychology students – Damjana Ađi, Marta Čovo, Verica Stanišić, and Mihailo Dolganov – under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mitrić-Aćimović, will present the research paper “A Pilot Study of Psychology Students’ Attitudes Toward Artificial Intelligence After Peer Education.”

For future psychology students, such events clearly demonstrate what it means to study at a faculty that connects education with scientific conferences, professional practice, and current trends in the profession.

The participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dragana Mitrić-Aćimović, Prof. Dr. Ksenija Kolundžija, Prof. Dr. Dušanka Đurović, Prof. Dr. Mikloš Biro, Prof. Dr. Đerđi Erdeš-Kavečan, Prof. Dr. Ivana Jošanov-Vrgović, Dr. Ana Mirković, Filip Biro, and Nemanja Popović represents a strong confirmation of the quality and relevance of psychology studies at the Faculty of “Eduka.”

Through this Congress, FOS Eduka once again confirms its mission: to provide students with modern, applicable, and scientifically grounded education, with direct connection to the leading representatives of the psychological profession.
