We are delighted to invite you to a lecture entitled “Why We Need Each Other,” delivered by Jasmina Nikolić, a graduate special education teacher and Director of the Victimology Society of Serbia (VDS). The lecture will take place on Tuesday, October 13, at 12:00 PM at the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka.”

Through more than two decades of practical, activist, and research work, Jasmina Nikolić has dedicated her life to building systems of support and solidarity. In this lecture, drawing on her expertise in victimology and her deeply humanistic approach, she will highlight the importance of mutual connection, empathy, and community in contemporary society.

Discover how support services, networking, and recognizing the needs of those around us help people move “from victim to victor,” and why a coordinated, compassionate community response is essential for overcoming crises and violence. As a long-standing lecturer and author of numerous programs, Professor Nikolić will share real-life stories illustrating the transformative power of solidarity.

The lecture is open to students and professors of the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka.”
