As part of the psychological forums organized by the Faculty of Organizational Studies "Eduka," a book promotion for Forensic Psychology: A Guide to Psychological Expertise by professors Mikloš Biro and Dušanka Đurović was held. The event was attended by reviewers, lawyers, judges, university professors, and students of forensic psychology.
The importance and role of this work in psychological expertise practice were explained. Emphasis was placed on the accuracy of risk assessment, ethics, neutrality, and the complexity of evaluating mental states. Drawing from numerous real-life examples, key issues and challenges in modern forensic psychology were highlighted. This is the first in a series of events planned in the field of forensic psychology.
