
Organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, the panel “Travel Startup” brought together relevant experts from the fields of tourism and economy with the aim of connecting these sectors through innovative startup solutions. The panel presented current trends, challenges, and opportunities for tourism development through creative and digital approaches.
Panel participants included Dr. Nenad Ivanišević, Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, Jasmina Beljan Iskrin, Director of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, and Prof. Dr. Srđan Milošević, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Organizational Studies "Eduka". The panel was moderated by Branislav Mamić, Secretary for Services at the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina.
The discussion covered key challenges faced by tourism startups, including access to funding, the regulatory framework, and the need to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors. Expectations for the coming years and the necessity of investing in digital transformation and sustainable tourism development were also discussed.
Panelists emphasized the importance of institutional support, networking, and the creation of programs that encourage entrepreneurship among young people. It was concluded that there is great potential for the development of new business models in tourism, especially through the use of technology, and that continuous efforts must be made to exchange knowledge and best practices.
This panel represents a significant step toward strengthening the ecosystem of tourism startups and contributes to the creation of an innovative and competitive tourism product of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia as a whole.
